To get to the Monash Centre in Prato by train. High speed trains run from Rome, Bologna and other major cities to Florence (Firenze S M Novella). From that station, regional trains run about every half hour to Prato Porta al Serraglio, the closest station to the Centre (5 minute walk). The journey from Florence (SM Novella) to Prato (Pta al Serraglio) takes about 25 minutes, and costs €2.60 (in April 2016).
