FILMS, PANEL DISCUSSIONS, OPENING NIGHT

'Port, Poles and Wires' aims to stimulate and broaden discussion around issues of public services, common spaces, and the threats of privatisation. In addition to the art works to be shown at Red Point Gallery and at 179 Wentworth St, Port Kembla (10 - 19 August 2018), there will be the following events:

Opening by Dr Aunty Barbara Nicholson, 6pm Friday 10 August 2018.

Public housing films and panel. 4pm Saturday 11 August 2018. Screening the short film 'This is Sirius' and an excerpt from Beyond Empathy's 'Protection'.

Campaigns panel and materials. 12 midday, Saturday 18 August 2018. We will discuss and highlight relevant campaigns, through displays of campaign materials: posters, postcards, pamphlets. BYO favourite poster or campaign!
